I currently have a class set of the book Dear Mr. Henshaw. The students love this book, and have historically loved the books that continues the story, entitled Strider. I would like to purchase this book as a class set, as well as, The Bridge to Terabithia, and two novels to support poetry instruction called Love that Dog and Hate that Cat. These five noveled will serve as our guided reading books from September to December/March and will be used to help build classroom community and a love for learning, a growth mindset, and fostering strong friendship.
Due to our size as a school and the leveled nature of these books. These will only be used for the 4th and 5th grade students as instructional tools (up to 30).
