Benefits of Program
Now that we are fully implementing Eureka Math Squared, we know what we are missing in terms of manipulatives reteach missing skills and/or extend learning for our students. These manipulatives will help us differentiate for our students during Eureka lessons and during our Math intervention time. These are all items that will last a long time and can be reused each year. These are not included in the district curriculum but paper versions are used in the lessons.
Success of Program
These manipulative will help students achieve the second grade standards. We have been using the rekenrek, and we see a lot of success using it, but we were only given one large one. Often students are waiting for a turn to use it.
Implementation
These will work smoothly with the district adopted curriculum, especially supporting students who need reteaching.
