Benefits of Program
All 6th grade students who participate in the Aces rotation will benefit from this program. Teachers in 7th or 8th grade could borrow the cubes to do a short unit of study.
Success of Program
Some benefits of using Rubik's Cubes in the classroom:

Implementation
Rubik's Cube Aces started in the fall of 2022, with a set of cubes from a previous Excellence in Ed grant. Currently we have enough cubes to allow all students to learn to solve the 3X3 cube. I would like to extend this grant to include a variety of cubes to solve: 2X2, edge, and 4X4. Once students are proficient in solving the cubes, they can extend the experience into creating mosaics. Small mosaics require 36 cubes and large mosaics require up to 600 cubes. I currently have about 250 cubes and would like to build the amount of cubes to 600 cubes. In addition, we would like to begin having Rubik's Cube competitions.

Sustainability
Rubik's Cubes are fully sustainable. They will last for many years. Curriculum is available online and printable.
