Benefits of Program
Students will listen to and create podcasts. Better listeners are better readers. Podcasting will help expand our students' vocabulary. It will also directly align with our district's focus on academic discourse.
Success of Program
Podcasting is another alternative for students to present what they’ve learned. It’s a great tool to help our students with their speaking skills. We would define success with this grant by implementing podcasting within our fourth-grade curriculum. By doing so, we hope our students will be more engaged and invested in their research and excited to share their learning with others.
Implementation
If this grant is funded, we hope to use it as soon as possible next year. The possibilities of making podcasts in the classroom are endless.

Yes, both fourth-grade classes can share the equipment.
Sustainability
I believe it is sustainable but with room to grow. We may find through trial and error that we need additional equipment as we learn with our students.
