Description
All students benefit from the use of visual aids to support learning. Classrooms are covered with visual aids to support learning, including word walls, content objectives, etc. We would like to extend the use of visual aids in support of our science program to the hallways and common areas. This grant application is to fund the purchase of science-based posters/visual aids to support student learning and to reinforce the message that Tahoe Lake is a science school.
Success of Program
Mastery of the science standards are measured through common assessments developed by grade level PLCs.
Implementation
Posters and visual aids will be placed in high visibility common areas to reinforce the creation of a strong foundation in science in our K-3 students.

Each grade level PLC collaborates to create our instructional program in science. The use of visual aids in common areas will support this work.
