Description
To help students better understand the art of photography. They will learn traditional and digital photography. Student will be inspired by the introduction on how to take photographs of a variety of subjects from landscape to portrait to animal photography. Students will learn the history of the camera and photography. Students will also look at careers in photography.

These text books have tools, rubrics, and assessments I can use to measure the student's achievement.
Implementation
So far this year, I have one textbook and have been using it. Students have been reading the chapters, filling out a worksheet I have made to go along with the chapters and answering the assessment questions at the end of chapters. The students have also been working on the hands on projects introduced in the chapters. I will continue to implement this book throughout the year and use it for years to follow.
Can you share this grant with your grade level or subject team?
These textbooks help will tie to the PLCs because they give a more structure support for teaching traditional photography while also teaching the new age of digital photography. Students will also learn about the history of photography and careers in photography.
