Donner Trail would like to purchase new age-appropriate board games for kids to play to practice collaborative learning, teamwork and speaking and listening skills. Currently, our game inventory is old, incomplete and outdated and cannot be used to practice these skills. We believe that these games will help support the District goal for collaborative conversations.
Students will have safe and engaging activities to participate in. Students can also use games to practice teamwork, speaking and listening skills and collaborative conversations as emphasized by Common Core.
Students will learn and practice cooperative conversations that will extend into the classroom.
Students will immediately benefit from updated games to keep them engaged and safe.
