The Truckee Elementary School Library is expanding and improving the newly formed STEAM Lab located within the library. Our hope is to provide the STEAM Readers curriculum to each grade level so that they may integrate literacy and STEAM activities into their weekly routine.

I would like to create a picture book classroom library. These picture books will support all the subjects in 5th grade (SEL, ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies).

The grant request is for the following materials: A classroom library supporting social/emotional learning and inquiry/project based learning Math games and building manipulatives Makerspace supplies A classroom set of Chromebooks

This grant would fund a beverage stand/cart (lemonade, hot chocolate and coffee/tea) operation at Tahoe Lake Elementary, to be run by special education staff and students - including SDC, RSP, and speech.

Scholastic Let's Find Out and Science Spin are supplemental educational materials that use fun nonfiction with seasonal science and social studies themes to build literacy and knowledge. This grant would cover the subscription cost of Scholastic Let's Find Out and Science Spin weekly magazines for all of the TK/K students
