- a chance for students to participate in alternate library activities,
- a safe, friendly, social opportunity,
- development of strategizing and critical thinking skills while having a good time.

Success of this grant would be measured by how many times a game gets checked out, and how many students participate.
Implementation
With this grant the library would purchase board games. The board games would be cataloged and held in a special area for students and teachers to check out. The library would host a lunch club where students could come and get direction on the games.
